Scope of Position:


Reporting to the Corporate Training Director, the Training Coordinator will be responsible for non-exempt and exempt training for all Culinary Khancepts State Fare and Liberty Kitchen restaurant concepts.


Scope of Work:


The ideal candidate must possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The Training Coordinator is expected to be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You should display research and writing skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.  You will assist the Corporate Training Director in creating, implementing, and maintaining systems and procedures.

In this position you will need have knowledge of the concept operation, decision-making processes, and corporate expectations.  You will need to show an interest in producing targeted results by implementing effective and efficient programs and procedures.  Top candidates will be innovative with a positive approach on team development and coaching. 




The following tasks are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive, other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Identify and assess the training needs of Culinary Khancepts through business knowledge, leadership paths and evaluations with hourly team members and managers.
  • Assist in creating individualized and group training programs that address needs assigned by the Corporate Training Director.
  • Maintain and enforce training manual guidelines that focus on the guest experience.
  • Maintain and enforce effective and purposeful training methods.
  • Assist in managing training budgets
  • Evaluate team member performance to ensure that training is implemented and effective.
  • Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity and identify areas of improvement.
  • Coach brand values through all training and development activities.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management.
  • Maintain and enforce training curriculum to facilitate and meet individualized goals within the location
  • Assist the corporate training director in selecting and sourcing training materials to work with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
  • Assist the Corporate Training Director in resourcing training trends, developments, and best practices.




  • A minimum of 1 year experience in training and development management (essential).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Interest and experience with developing and executing training programs.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and business platforms (i.e. Hot Schedules, OpenTable, Tripleseat)
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
